1. Product Overview

The self-adhesive polymer-modified bitumen waterproof membrane is an advanced waterproofing material composed of high-quality modified bitumen, reinforced with polyester felt or fiberglass. It features a self-adhesive layer covered with a release film, eliminating the need for heating or open flames during installation. This membrane provides excellent waterproofing performance, superior flexibility, and strong adhesion, making it ideal for a variety of roofing and underground waterproofing applications.

2. Key Features

Self-Adhesive Application: Easy and safe installation without the need for heating, reducing fire hazards and labor costs.

Superior Waterproofing Performance: Ensures complete water resistance, preventing leaks and moisture infiltration.

High Flexibility and Elongation: Adapts to structural movements and prevents cracking.

Excellent Adhesion: Strong bonding to concrete, metal, wood, and other substrates for long-lasting protection.

Aging and Weather Resistance: High resistance to UV rays, oxidation, and environmental aging, ensuring durability.

Cold-Applied Technology: Suitable for low-temperature environments, maintaining flexibility and ease of application.

3. Applications

Roofing waterproofing for residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.

Underground waterproofing for basements, tunnels, and subways.

Waterproofing for bridges, highways, and railway structures.

Water retention structures such as reservoirs, dams, and water treatment plants.

4. Installation Process

1. Surface Preparation: Ensure the substrate is clean, dry, and free of dust, grease, and loose materials.

2. Primer Application: Apply a bitumen-based primer to improve adhesion between the membrane and the substrate.

3. Membrane Installation:

Remove the release film from the self-adhesive layer.

Align the membrane and carefully press it onto the prepared substrate.

Use a roller to ensure proper adhesion and eliminate air bubbles.

4. Seam Treatment: Overlap adjacent membranes and firmly press them together to create a seamless waterproofing layer.

5. Quality Inspection: Perform adhesion and waterproofing tests to ensure proper installation and long-term performance.
